The internet is a wonderful source of information to assist in locating these treasured places. There are many websites out there with information on previous explorers visits, and their photos and comment.
Visiting takes planning, investigation, care and a large dose of good luck sometimes.
CAUTION: Exploring abandoned and deflect places may be fun and interesting, but it can also be dangerous. Buildings have often been left uncared for many years and are starting to collapse. Please be aware that visiting the inside of these place might be dangerous and it’s done at your own risk. Don’t enter unless you have enough light, either natural or a flashlight. Items may fall from the ceilings, holes may be through the floors, staircases may not be complete and may have missing handrails, not forgetting that lift shafts open and totally unprotected.
